TO GO WITH AFP STORY "Pop-up popes, Lego basilica welcome Francis to US"
In this September 8, 2015 handout photo provided by The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania shows a Lego reproduction of St. Peter's Basilica. The Reverend Bob Simon, pastor of Pennsylvania's St. Catherine of Siena church made the Lego Vatican that is going on display at The Franklin Institute, where Pope Francis is scheduled to take part in the World Meeting of Families on September 26-27. It coincides with the museum's new Vatican Splendors exhibit, which showcases significant objects from the Catholic Church's history. Reverend Simon used 500,000 plastic bricks used to reproduce the Basilica of St. Peter in Rome and the adjoining square surrounded by a colonnade path. This work, which took him ten months to build, will be on display from September 19 to February 15, 2016 at the Franklin Institute. AFP PHOTO / HANDOUT / THE FRANKLIN INSTITUTE / DARRYL W.
